He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Slater and Virginia Slater. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Kay Slater; his children, Adam Bye (Katie) and Lily Mousseau (Paul); his grandchildren, George, Hunter M., Azalea, Hunter B., Xavier, Addison, Chloe, Azazel and Aurora; his sisters, Sharon Kapit (Don), Pam Saldana (Dave) and Alicia Thompson (James); his mother-in-law Ecie Stewart; and his pets, Ranger, Cash and Rett. He is also survived by grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.
In remembrance of Gary's kind spirit and generous heart, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in his honor.
