He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ransford and Madonna Ransford (Allen); his granddaughter Jill Ransford; and his brothers, Billy Ransford, Bob Ransford and Duane Ransford.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy H. Ransford (Snippes); his children, Martin Ransford, Darryl Ransford, Pamela Dewhirst (Joseph), Andrew Ransford and Paul Ransford (Sheri Alt); his grandchildren, Anna Meyer (Matthew), Steven Ransford, Laura Sanderson, Erica Ransford and Sage Feikema; his great grandchildren, Miles Ransford, Jade Ransford and Maddox Meyer; and his sister Karen Ahearn.
