It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Wesley Joslin of Flat Rock, Michigan, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Joslin and Vieno Esther Joslin (Korpi). He is survived by: his wife Helen Joslin; his children, Kimberly Hill (Shawn), Robert Joslin (Karla) and Christopher Jason Hardacre (Cinda); his grandchildren, Sarah Skrodal (Haakon), Alyssa Hardacre (Stephen Chrivia), Callie Hardacre, Gracie Hardacre, Landyn Johnson and Ember Johnson; his great grandchildren, Owen Skrodal and Mabel Skrodal; his siblings, Barbara Goelz (Ron) and John Joslin (Linda); and also Jonathan Locklear. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bobcean Funeral Home (26307 Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Due to family members having plant allergies, the family request donations in his memory may be made to the Flat Rock American Legion Post 337, Downriver Veterans Honor Guard, Suicide Prevention for Veterans, or Woodhaven Freewill Baptist Church.
