She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ray Schimmel and Betty Jo Schimmel (Goodman). She is survived by: her siblings, Gary Schimmel (Donna), Donnie Schimmel, Jim Schimmel (Carol) and Penny Schimmel; her nieces and nephews, Christopher Schimmel, Callie Bradbury (Nathan), Jamie Nagy (Justin), Alex Walker (Jake), AJ Schimmel, Cory Schimmel and Dilan Skelton; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Simon, Nicholas, Peyton, Garrett, Emma and Sydney.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bobcean Funeral Home (26307 Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
