He is survived by: his wife Kim Edison; his daughters, Whitney Anderson (James) and Chelsey Mackowski (Kevin); his grandchildren, Hailey, Ashlyn, Averie, Kade and Kenna; his mother Mary Kocsis; his brothers, Kevin Scott (Rechele), Randy Scott (Eva Baker) and Mathew Scott; and his nephew Dan Scott. He is also survived by his loving family and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 9:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andre Bessette Parish (4250 W Jefferson Ave, Ecorse, MI 48229).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made in Robert's honor to Game On Cancer.
