It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Ann Steffen (Flat Rock, Michigan), who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Detter and Helen Detter (Wass); her husband Thomas G. Steffen; and her brothers, Robert Detter (Betty) and Raymond Detter.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Steffen, Mark Steffen (Denise), Karen Ferguson (Mark) and David Steffen (Tammy); her grandchildren, Angela Sukockas (Ron), Mark Ferguson (Lori), Robin Lindenmuth (Tom), Nicholas Steffen, Scott Steffen (Jaime), Casey Steffen (Andrea) and Kyle Steffen (Kara); and her great grandchildren, Stanley, Stella, Sullivan, Reid, Crosby, Ethan, Audi, Anthony, Andy, Josie, Brynn, Rockford and Maxwell.
Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in her memory.
