It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Jane Nickell (Flat Rock, Michigan), born in Marion, Ohio, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Nickell. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Lowisz (Steve), Ron Nickell (Gina) and Karen Nickell; her grandchildren, Lauren Lowisz Halapi (Brian), Stephen Lowisz (Carlie), Courtney Grubaugh, Cole Nickell (Breanna), Trent Nickell, Dominick Sligar, Mackenzie Sligar, Wade Nickell and Kace Nickell; her great grandchildren, DeAndre'Madkin, Colson, Raelynn Lowisz, Sophia Lowisz, Gabriella Lowisz and Mavric Stinson; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Osborne, Brenda Osborne and Ruby Nickell. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Michigan Memorial Park (32163 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the same location.
