She is survived by: her children, George "Abdul" Garrett (Colleen) and Tracie Edwards (Alonzo); her grandchildren, Rayna DeVeaux (Davon), Alonzo Edwards (Amani), Brennon Edwards, Andrea Garrett and Rayfield Garrett III (Danae); her great grandchildren, Lincoln Edwards-Yalkapova, William Garrett, Brooklyn Garrett, Deonnie Garrett and Onna'lesa Garrett; her pet Diamond Edwards; her nieces, Alison Chatmon, Frances Russell, Renita Coney Mays and Phyllis Sykes; and her close friends, Betty Washington Harvey, Bella Kritz and Audrey Dismond.
