He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Mark and Regina "Virgie" Koziel (Kilijanski); his wife Mary Emily Tear; and his children, Lynn Koziel and Steven Koziel.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Carr (Tom) of Swartz Creek, David Koziel (Denise) of Yardley, PA, Andrew Koziel of West Chester, OH and Matthew Koziel (Kim Ficaro) of Ann Arbor; and his sisters, Kathleen Rutherford of Grand Blanc and Regina Johnston of Arizona. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
