He was predeceased by: his father John Hargrave; his son Otis Hargrave; his parent Sula Hargrave; and his brother Clarence Koenders. He is survived by: his wife Linda Powell; his children, Ardell Jr., Clarence, Thomas (Rick) of Michigan, Christina Dunavan (Mike) of Illinois, Denise Williams (Charles) of South Carolina and Lisa Hargrave of South Carolina; and his brother Thomas Hargrave of Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
