She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Harris and Agnes Gragg; her sister Angelia Y. Lewis; her grandparents, Julian and Hazel Gragg; and her aunt Priscilla Juanice Watson.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Isom, Kevin Isom (LaTunga) and David Isom of Flint, Michigan; her brother Joseph Lewis (Lisa) of Clarksville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Keosha Johnson, Iyannah Isom-Brown, Horace Isom, Kevin Isom Jr., Kaden Isom and Tytianna Hassan; her aunts and uncles, Ruthie Mae Vincent, Annie Jean Ridgell (Earl), Elizabeth Harris, James Harris (Bernstine) and Waymon Harris (Leota); her children, Tiris Strings and Sheila Gardner; her granddaughter Makiya Brown; and her close friends, Curlee Nelson and Ezell Grayson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
