As we bid Barbara farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Barbara is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carl Franklin and Winnifred Fidelia Witt (Jordan); her husband Robert J. Smith; and her sister Patricia Frame. She is survived by: her children, Joyce Wierzbicki (Rick) of Flushing, MI, David Smith (Debie) of Middleville, MI and Timothy Smith (Kelli) of Hudson, IL; her half-siblings, Dennis "Butch" Witt (Janice) of Clawson and Darlene Witt Bulman McDaniel of Clawson; and her niece Caron Personke of Sun City, AZ. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
