She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Rieger and Bertha Rieger (Karsten); her daughters, Elizabeth Collin (Richard) of Evart, Ruth Essig of Cadillac and Marilyn Muir of Manton; her sister Norma Geyer of Rogers City; her son Richard; her siblings, Erna Claus (Paul), Arlis Krause (Kenneth) and William Rieger (Gertrude); her son-in-law Robert Muir; and her brother-in-law Richard Geyer. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to LWML or Hospice of Michigan Cadillac Chapter.
