He was predeceased by: his parents, Brujillo Nieto and Andrea Nieto; and his wife Maria Gatica. He is survived by: his children, Elodia Mireles (Jose), Estella Shepard (Mark), Louie Nieto (Sandra), Benito Nieto Jr., Alonso Nieto, Jesus Nieto (Theresa) and Delia; and his great great grandchild Roman Mireles. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
