She was predeceased by: her parents, Christin Kagey and Blanche Kagey (Burton); her husband Donald; and her siblings, Douglas and Barbara.

She is survived by: her children, Stephen McFarlan, Debra McFarlan and Cheryl (John Jeffries); her grandchildren, Krista (Dan Solomon), Shane (Brandi Miller), Joshua Jeffries and Daniel Jeffries; and her great grandchildren, Raeanna, Iris, Jace, Lily and Rhyan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
