She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Rashid and Delia Rashid (Essafy); her husband John J. Abdella; her siblings, George (Mary), Edmund (Marge), Philip, Agnes Torok (Frank) and Helen Joseph (Sam); her granddaughter Mary Abdella; and her nieces and nephews, Arlene Rashead, Barbara Vukovich, Michael Rashid, Philip Rashead and Marty Torok.

She is survived by: her children, John (Laurie), Christine and Norman (Rachel); her grandchildren, John Jr., Lauren Abdella, Daniel Smithingell, DeAnah Green, Andrea Ananich (Jim) and Michael Abdella; her great grandchildren, Alexys Green and Jacob Ananich; and her grandson Deacon Marty Rachid. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries or Catholic Charities, or any charity that feeds the poor.
