With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Avila King D. O. II of Flint, Michigan, born in Springville, Utah, who passed away on December 29, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Charles Avila King and Dr. Mary King Long (Williamson); and his sisters, Karen K. King, Dr. Judy King Cotter and Margie King Berry.
He is survived by: his wife Donna King; his children, Charles Avila King III of Fayetteville, Brandy Lee Wood (Jerry) of Ann Arbor and Sherry Ann Dreasky (Logan) of DeWitt, Michigan; his grandchildren, Chloe, Sophie King, Claudia, Henry, Eric Wood, Avery, Kaygan and Anna Dreasky; and his sister Dr. Mary Adele King of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dr. Mary King Long Scholarship Fund.
