He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Parkinson and Geraldine Parkinson (Talley); his former wife Pamela Burnash; his wife Margaret "Joann" Parkinson; and his nephew Rick Parkinson.
He is survived by: his sons, David Parkinson (Kristina) and Gary Parkinson; his grandchildren, Alixendra, Adam (Jayna), Matthew (Sydnie), Dustin and Megan; his brothers, Roger (Nancy) and Jeff Parkinson (Kathy); and his partner Shannon Bair. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and stepchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in honor of Dale. Dale was born in Flint, Michigan on February 27, 1948, the son of the late Carl and Geraldine (Talley) Parkinson.
