We announce the death of Darlene Lewis of Flint, Michigan, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 75. Darlene will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Boza and Dorothy Cornwell (Scott); her son Larry "Scott" McGuire; her siblings, Lavern Boza and Luci Evens; and her sister-in-law Mary Boza.
She is survived by: her husband Lonnie C. Lewis; her daughter Tammy Dean (Scott); her grandchildren, Tony Dean, Joshua Dean, Maxwell Dean and Desiray McGuire; her great grandchildren, Beksley Dean and Colton Dean; her stepchildren, Jeremy Lewis (Ashley) and Jennifer Thomas (Jake); and her siblings, Robert Boza, Violet Rodgers (Jerry) and Georgie Cornwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
