He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Waite and Ruth Waite (Taylor); his son David A. Waite; and his brother Richard Waite. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Bastic; his children, Shirley Shinabarger, Emily Waite (Rusty), Joshua Kudlaty (Christina), Jacqueline Carr (Timothy) and Cynthia Shaver (Zeb); his daughter-in-law Nicole Waite; his sister Sandy Simmons; and his sister-in-law Sharyn Waite. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
