He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Willett and Bernice Willett (Grove); his siblings, Wilma, Eugene, Yvonne, Jack and Delores; and his great grandchild Clayton.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, David Willett (Brenda), Dennice Atkinson (Jim), Richard Willett (Dawn) and Janeen Bryant (Mark); his sister Faye; his grandchildren, Rebecca Gould-Smith (Chris), Amanda Baker (Chris), Logan Bryant (Becca) and Bailey Bryant; and his stepgrandchildren, Burt Grant (Danielle) and Michelle Dugger. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Montrose Global Methodist Church (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507).
