It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diane Kay Sloan (Flint, Michigan), who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward E. Groehsl and Dorothy M Groehsl (Feddick); and her husband Thomas Jefferson Sloan. She is survived by: her daughter Melissa I. Boyd of Fenton, MI; her brother George E Groehsl of Harrison, MI.; her cousins, John Fain, Amy Cooper (Jeffrey), John Fain Jr. (Christine), Justin and Katie Sue Cooper; and her friend Ann Walker.
After retirement, she donated the many, many children's books she had collected over the years to the World of Wonder Early Childhood Center in Fenton where she created and managed a beautifully decorated library, adding books donated by parents and the community.
