She is survived by: her daughter Deshenna Hairston; her grandchildren, Nekiyah, DeShario and Tai Hairston King; her great grandchildren, King, Chanze, Kyrie, Choice and Ayla; her brother Derrick Mason; her sibling's children, Tanisha Thornton-Brewster, Ceia Mays, Evette Bobo, Preston, Calvin Blake, Jr., Brenton DaVance Bobo and Larry Bobo; her close friend Lana; and her goddaughter Johnaisha Johnson.
