It is with sadness that the passing of Donald Everett Dunavan of Flint, Michigan is shared. Donald, born on May 11, 1941, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dunavan and Viola Virginia Dunavan (Jacobs); and his wife Charlene Ruth (Wakeman). He is survived by: his children, Donald Dunavan (Tara) of Durand, Candy Spencer (Chris) of Ohio, Tony Breecher (Tammie) of Ohio, DeVonna Irwin (Jeffery) of Ottawa Lake, Karl Wakeman of Mt. Pleasant, Leon Lacy (Kimberly) of North Carolina, Scott Lacy of Flint and Lisa Gilbert; and his siblings, Ralph, Chet and Molly. He is also survived by 24 Grandchildren and 34 Great-Grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Flint VFW Post #822 (5065 S Saginaw St, Flint, MI 48507).
