He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rosalee Newell and Woodrow Newell; his wife Shelia Newell; and his children, Tanya Newell, Dawn Newell, Diana Newell, Kesha Hill, Shedonn Newell, Donald J. Newell, Tavaris Newell, Tevin Newell and Timothy Newell. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 4 greatgrandchildren, 16sisters and brothers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Chapel (1009 E Stewart Ave, Flint, MI 48505). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
