He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou Ebel; and his parents, Frederick Ebel and Lydia Ebel. He is survived by: his children, Michael Elta of Petoskey and Kathy Boyer of Rotunda West, Florida.; and his grandchildren, Sol Elta, Jacob Elta and Tara Fishback.
