He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Scott and Wilma Scott (Hogard); his wife Virgie Lacewell; his siblings, Ronnie Hogard, Dale Hogard and Donna Ford; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Goode.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheron (Rocky Piccobotta) of Flint, Darlene (Stephen Beebe), Brenda Scott of Flint, Laura (Alan Culp) and Genie Scott of Flint; his grandchildren, David Beebe of Clarkston, Mandi (Scott Hatchew) of Texas, Martina Gonzalez of Davison, Erika Guldi of Flint, Jennifer Defoy of Indianapolis, Katie Grathoff of Tawas and Stacie (Cyle Coleman) of Mesa, AZ; and his sister Francis Goode of Swartz Creek. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
