It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Hayden of Flint, Michigan, who passed away on April 18, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hayden and Frances Hayden (Daniels). He is survived by: his children, Julia Compton (Brent), Edward Hayden Jr. and John Hayden III (Melissa); his grandchildren, Alexxis Stiers, Keri Ohl, Piper Hayden, Jeffrey Winslow, Edward Hayden III, Na'Kia Tate, Jeremy Hayden and Jayla Tate; his former wife Loretta Hayden; his brother Robert Hayden; and his pet Stubby. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews and several good friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame.
