He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Jenkins and Mary Jenkins (Smith); and his sister Debra Woods. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Ballard (Wayne) and Mary Jenkins; his grandchildren, Tegun Ballard, Lydia Ballard, Corbyn Ballard and Avah Ballard; and his siblings, Deanna Hodgeson (Kelvin), Victor Smith (Betsy) and Brian Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the VFW Post # 822 (5065 Saginaw Rd, Flint, MI 48507).
