It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleftheria Rissin of Flint, Michigan, who passed away on September 27, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pavlos Minos and Anastasia Minos (Stamboulis); her husband James Demko Rissin; her siblings, Sophia and Dimitrious Minos (Vasa Minos); and her sister-in-law Pennie Minos.
She is survived by: her daughters, Renee (David Pillsbury) of Swartz Creek and Lydia (Randy Purol) of Ortonville; her grandsons, Alex Pillsbury and Nicholas Rissin; her great grandchild Anastasia Pillsbury; her siblings, Evangelia (Steve Donches) and Yorgi Minos (George); and her pets, Levi and Roscoe. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church or Alzheimer's Association.
