She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Madden and Ellen Madden (Otway); her husband Joseph Elias Ignace; her son Joseph J. Ignace; her grandson Michael Dye; and her brothers, Raymond Madden, Joseph Madden and Arthur Madden.

She is survived by: her children, Juliann Martel (Paul), Janis Dye (Mark), Jill Frase (Mark), Joan DeFrates (Kirk) and John Ignace; her grandchildren, Kristina Eng (David), Kevin Martel (Amy), Keri Holliday (Steve), Christopher Dye (Julie), Kyle Dye (Jamie), Joshua Ignace (Elizabeth), Jeremy Ignace (Maggie), Danielle Halstead (Josh), Adam Frase, Charlie Brunell (Jakia) and Calla Walshe (Simon); her daughter-in-law Marcia Ignace; and her sisters, Marian O'Boyle and Dorothy Kritlow (Richard). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
