She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Daisy "Lucille" Hartford Isom; her children, Freddie Eason and Christine Eason; her husbands, Freddie Eason, Charles Shoats and Clarence Walters; and her brothers, Roosevelt and Robert Isom.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory A. Eason (Karen) of Flint, MI, Kateria Eason of Miami, FL and Thomas Eason Walters (Larielys Gonzales) of Homestead, FL; her grandchildren, Niquea Eason, Sheka Eason, Freddie Bess, Jonathan Eason, Gregory C. Eason, Sheena Eason-Rodway, Phillip Eason, Telvin Eason-Rodway, Thomas Walters Jr., Isaiah Thomas and Luna Walters; her sister Ollie Mae Hill (Lily) of Augusta, GA; her nieces and nephews, Curtis Eason, Andre'Hill, Roosevelt Isom Jr., Kenneth Isom, Renata Manning and Sharontina Hill; and her close friends, Lillie Terrell and Clyde Wright. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
