It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Hooker of Flint, Michigan, born in Shelby, Indiana, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Nugent and Estella Nugent (Donica); her husband James E. Hooker; and her children, Darrel Hooker, Leta Jean Stokes, William "Billy" Berry, Patrick Hooker and David Kelly.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Sneed of Oklahoma, Duane Hooker (Barbara) of Arkansas, Judy Garner (Willis) of Arkansas, Sherry Godoy (Jessie), Robert Berry (Tina) of Pennsylvania, Bruce Berry of Washington, Tony Hooker, Teresa Marcou of Tennessee and Numerous; and her brother Dr. Paul Nugent (Alice) of Indiana. She is also survived by Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and several Great Great Grandchildren.

Due to Covid 19 and government regulations, only 25 people are allowed in our chapel at one time and mask must be worn.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Catholic Charities of Genesee County.
