He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Fredberg; his parents, Frank Grimske and Alfreda Grimske; his grandson Erich; and his son-in-law Fouad.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Kai (Robert), Timothy Grimske (Valerie), Carol Bush (Dana) and Fredric Grimske (Tammy); his grandchildren, Marc Kai M. D., Andrew Bush (Stephanie), Steven Bush (Sarah), Dominic Grimske (Courtney) and McKenna Grimske; his great grandchildren, Emmy, Drew, Isla, Avery, Lucas and Izzy; and his sister Marion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
