He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Shaw and Gilda Shaw (Bair); his son Fredrick J. Shaw Jr.; and his siblings, Brad, Keith and Nancy.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Rodabaugh, Sarah LaVelle (Kyle) and Joseph Shaw; his close friend Michele Shaw; his siblings, Hope Shaw and John Shaw; his grandchildren, James Rodabaugh IV, Rachel Rodabaugh, Emma-Rae Rodabaugh, Dahlia Grace LaVelle and Malakai Vander LaVelle; and his great grandchild Grayson Rodabaugh.
