She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby L. Cook-Green and Leroy Kellum; and her sister Jacquelynn Younger. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Hamlin (Lavell) and Shaquille Blacksure; her grandchildren, Lavell Keshawn, Treveon Hamlin and Noelle Blacksure; her great grandchild Aden Hamlin; her siblings, Lois Driver-Torns, Marion Morris, Naketta Green, Dewayne Green and DeMario Green; her cousin Georgia Smith; and her friends, Jolena Sanders-Sims, Vivian Ellison and Norma Jones.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Chapel (1009 E Stewart Ave, Flint, MI 48505). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Refuge Temple Church of Flint (4400 W Carpenter Rd, Flint, MI 48504).
