He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Brannon and Vallie Brannon (Smith); and his brother James Everett Brannon. He is survived by: his wife Emma Baning; his children, Dan Brannon (Julie), Susan Hunt (Dave), Barbara Shelswell, Katherine Gadalla and David Brannon; and his brothers, Doyle Brannon (Ann), Marvin Brannon (Sharon) and Russell Brannon, Jr.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
