He is survived by: his wife Linda Cochran-Ryan; his children, Richard Johnson (Roslyn), Shimika Johnson, Lewonn Ryan, Julius Ryan, Darryl Ray Harris, Darius Harris, Ronica Tatum, Romeki Jackson (Todd), Sequida Cooper (Dexter), Reginald Cochran and Eva Cochran; his siblings, Harry Ryan, Troy Adams, Freddie Adams, Valarie Adams, Charlotte Ryan and Kenneth Ryan; his close friend David Pyatt, MD; Charlene Crosby and Trolonda Brown. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
