He was predeceased by: his parents, George Welsh and Marion Welsh (Monroe); his siblings, George, Joseph, Edith and Dorothy; his son George Francis; his sons-in-law, Bernie Andres and Joseph Bennett; his grandchildren, Nathan Welsh and Irene Bennett; and his great grandchild Milo Szczepaniak.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann O'Brien; and his children, Hugh (Linda), Kevin (Kara), Deborah Bennett, Diana Tebeau (Steve), Denise Welsh, Darlene Andres, Terrance, Donna Szczepaniak (Joel), Shawn (Laura), Andy (Melissa), Dodi Smith (Craig) and Dawn Austin (Wally).
