He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hogan; his children, Edward Hale (Julie) of Chesaning, Joseph Hale (Tina) of Wasilla, Tracie Bobrowski of Flint, Cheri Lyon (James) of Onaway and James Hale (Sarah) of Burton; and his siblings, Joann Ledet of Huxley, Iowa and William Hale of Alpena. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
