James Jones Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Jones of Flint, Michigan, who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jones and Eva Madeline Meredith; and his brother-in-law Burk Williams (Dennis Barksdale). He is survived by: his children, Jvete Adams and James Adams; his grandsons, Nathan of San Antonio and Tyler Adams of San Antonio; his siblings, Jamie Williams, Nancy Jones, Jennifer Lakes and Johnny Jones of Flint, Michigan.; and his close friends, Shirley Aikens, Seyon Harrell, Ava Coffey, Jason Yacoub and Boobie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Legacy Funeral Chapel (1009 E Stewart Ave, Flint, MI 48505). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
