He is survived by: his sons, Terrance Richard, James Jr. Thomas (Tina) and Reuben Thomas (Monica); and his sisters, Eunice Milton (Robert), Teresa Thomas and Deborah Thomas. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
