She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Milks and Oleta Milks (Howison); her husband Roland Valley; and her brother Howard Milks II. She is survived by: her children, Lori Thompson (Curtis), Donna Ballard, Douglas Case and Janine McBride; her grandchildren, Steven, Kristen, Evan, Erin, Luke, Derek, Sarah, Joshua, Cija and Marty; and her siblings, Kenneth Milks (Brenda) and Juanita Appleton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
