He is survived by: his mother Norma Walsh; his wife Joanne Schempf; his siblings, Dennis (Brenda), Suzy Awe (Michael) and Patricia Dormire; his children, Rachel Brandon (Kurt), Sarah Renkiewicz (Matt), Christopher (Kimber) and Hannah; his grandchildren, Kent, Alexander, Joel, Katherine and Elizabeth Brandon; and his children, Violet, Celia Renkiewicz, Elsie, Benjamin and Phoebe.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the LCMS Joint Seminary Fund.
