He was predeceased by: his parents, George Austin and Lillian Austin (Thayer); and his siblings, George Austin and Carrie Obenour. He is survived by: his wife Judy Morey; his children, Michael Austin, Robert Austin (Jill) and Rebecca Austin; his grandchildren, Noah, Finnley, Miranda, Ocean, Abigail and Sullivan; his sister Mary Ann Little (Gary); and his siblings-in-law, Don Morey and Bev Cousins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Old News Boys of Flint, in Jimmy's memory.
