She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry and Regina Schmitt; her husband Bruce Garrett; and her siblings, Ethel Hodge, Doris Mausolf, Ernie, Fred and Jim Schmitt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Collins (Doug), Linda Sussi (Paul), Janel Briggs (Rodney), Elaine VanderMey (Rob) and Karen Barnes (Todd). She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
