He is survived by: his fiancée Agnes Byars; his sons, John, Jr. (Shonda) and Brian; his stepchildren, Chad and Tonya; his grandchildren, John III, Devon, Logan, Joseph, Carter, Londyn and Hailey; and his siblings, Marion, Melvin, Carl, Debbie, Kim and Cheryl.
