He was predeceased by: his parents, John Louis and Eleanor Agnes Riegle (Hines); and his brother Donald W. Riegle, Sr. (Joyce). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Elizabeth Pidcock; his children, Thomas (Jodi), Sarah Lemelin (Whitney), Jane, Mary (David Cenefels), Elizabeth (Ritchie Geoghan), John and Andrew; his sister Rosalie Riegle; and his grandchildren, Kira, Valerie Riegle, Joseph, John, Eleanor Lemelin, Katerina and Anna Cenefels. He is also survived by his family and friends.
Suggestions for donations in John's memory include the Flint Children's Museum, the Friends of For-Mar Foundation, and Special Olympics of Michigan.
