He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter and Frances Walter (Lewis); and his brother Ken Walter. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Jon Walter (Lauren) and Dana McCarius; his grandchildren, Maddie, Will and Claudia Walter; and his sisters, Patti Bodin and Barb Tobias.
