It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua Hicks of Flint, Michigan, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Joseph Hicks and Mary Hicks; his son Joshua Jr.; and his siblings, Joe Curtis, Samuel, Ollis, Harold Hicks, Lillie Mae White, Zenobia Sanders and Savannah Harper.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Frances Hicks; his children, Barrion Andree Hicks (Gwen), ReLesia Gray (Darryl), Monica Jackson (Clayton) and Lois Chapman (Freddie); his grandchildren, Dr. Eboni Gray, Devin Gray, Cameron Gray, Shawntae Chapman, Shevontae Chapman (Johnisha) and Aleah Hicks; his great grandchildren, Shawna Cannon, Savanna, Mia and Pete Chapman; his sisters, Odessa Martin and Ruth Malone; his niece Claudia Milton; and his nephew Henry Hicks.
